The 11th Party Congress of the College of Machinery and Irrigation – Term: 2020-2025

The Grassroots Party Congress of the College of Machinery and Irrigation held on March 11, 2020 was a great success. The Congress was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Thi Hoa – Member of Standing Committee, Chairman of Inspection Committee of Grassroots Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development who attended and delivered a speech, accompanied by Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nga – Member of the Party Inspection Committee, Deputy Chief of Office; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Danh, Specialist of Grassroots Party Committee of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

During the term of 2015-2020, the Party Committee of the College of Machinery and Irrigation played the leadership role to achieve the excellent implementation of key tasks under the Resolution of the Congress. The development of the Party was strengthened at the request of enhancing the combat capacity of Party organizations and the quality of officials and party members. Leadership and direction of the contents of political ideology, the leadership of collective organization, officials organization, the development of the Party achieved positive results, creating clear changes in such fields as: enrollment always met the assigned targets, the quality of training increasingly improved to meet the requirements of businesses and society, teachers actively contributed intellectually, innovated the content of teaching methods, updated with new knowledge and technology. The facilities were increasingly complete and spacious, aiming to meet the criteria of a high quality college, attracting many international projects to support the development of the College.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Thi Hoa highly appreciated the work of preparing the Congress as well as the evaluation of the results achieved in the term of 2015-2020 of the College’s Party Committee, and she also emphasized that, in the new term, the Party Committee of the College of Machinery and Irrigation continues to maintain and focus on leadership to well perform the targets and professional tasks; strengthen the work of political and ideological education for officials, party members and civil servants; continuing to identify the development of the Party as a key task; paying attention to the management, supervision and quality of party members and so on.

Regarding personnel work, the Congress elected the College’s Party Executive Committee including 07 members; elected the Party Inspection Committee consisting of 03 members. On that basis, the Congress also directly consulted and elected Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Party Committee Secretary for the term of 2015-2020 to continue being elected by the Executive Board to hold the position of Secretary of the College’s Party Committee in the term of 2020 – 2025; Mr. Le Thi Dao continued to be elected by the Executive Board to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the College Party Inspection Committee.

At the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Secretary of the Party Committee on behalf of the Party Executive Committee pledged to continue to uphold the tradition of the College’s Party Committee, develop the potentials and strengths available to lead the College’s Party Committee to overcome difficulties, raise the spirit of solidarity and protectiveness and creativity and strive to successfully accomplish the goals and tasks of the Resolution from the XI Congress, in the term of 2020-2025.

The Congress also elected 04 official delegates and 01 alternate delegate to the higher level Party Congress as prescribed.
