Delegation of Dalat Vocational Training College visits and works at the College

On the morning of October 16, 2019, the delegation of  Dalat Vocational Training College was led by the Rector – Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh and Head of some the College’s departments visited and worked at the College of Machinery and Irrigation.

The delegation were received by Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Rector, Secretary of the College’s Party Committee, two Vice Rectors and teachers who are heads of the College’s Departments and faculties. On behalf of the Board of Manages, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of Dalat Vocational Training College to visit the College and introduce the delegation about the College of Machinery and Irrigation.

 

Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong – Secretary of the College’s Party Committee, Rector, was giving a welcome speech.

At the meeting, the two College exchanged views on areas of mutual interest. The  College of Machinery and Irrigation is one of 45 TVET institutions selected to become a high quality TVET institution according to the plan approved by the Prime Minister, the College is also the only TVET institution invested by GIZ International Cooperation Organization (Germany) to develop toward a Centre of Excellence for “Green” TVET based on German standards, support the integration of Green aspects in the current training programs in Machinery Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Electric – Electronic Engineering, Refrigeration, Information technology for the contribution to providing a highly qualified labor force to meet the needs of developing a “green” and sustainable economy in the process of industrialization, modernization and international integration of Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong shared the College’s experiences on communication, enrollment counseling, improvement of training quality to meet social needs, and integration of “ Green” elements in vocational training. Especially introduction of some ongoing cooperative activities with international organizations in vocational training in the College.

The delegation of Dalat Vocational Training College visited and highly appreciated the enrollment  and facilities, equipment system for training in classrooms,  workshops of the the College of Machinery and Irrigation.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh – Rector, representing the Dalat Vocational Training College’s delegation thanked the Board of Managers, officials of the College of Machinery and Irrigation for giving a considerate welcome and having organized a meaningful meeting to meet and exchange experiences. She also expressed the desire to continue to further promote the mutual exchanges and cooperation in TVET programme and scientific research , upon which more tighten the friendship of the two College.
