More than 1500 students applied for the first admission in the school year of 2020-2021 at the College of Machinery and Irrigation

The College of Machinery and Irrigation is a prestigious and qualified TVET institution not only of Dong Nai but also of the Southeast region and the country. As usual, at the beginning of August this year, the College organized admission for the new K40 course, and at the same time, strictly implementing the prevention of COVID-19. The College has developed a K40 enrollment plan for the school year of 2020-2021 from August 15 to August 23, 2020.

On the day of admission, new students received schedules according to the registered majors. The dormitory and school bus were options provided for students living far away from the College. New students were guided to familiarize with the system of facilities of the College as well as to perform other necessary procedures.

In order to ensure the absolute safety of the prevention of COVID-19 for teachers, students and parents coming to the College for admission, the College mobilized the whole political system to participate in organizing guiding, and implementing admission for new students such as measuring body temperature, spraying antiseptic, distributing free masks to each parent and student; the instruction and support for students’ enrollment were done quickly and effectively.

By the end of August 23, 2020, the College enrolled more than 1,500 new students of the K40 at the college and intermediate level that exceeded the assigned quota. Especially, the College recruited 90 students for 02 new jobs: Electronics for Energy and Building Technology and Mechanics for Sanitary, Heating and Climate Technology under the project “Program Reform of TVET – Center of Excellence for ‘Green’ TVET” sponsored by Germany. Students of the College including K40 course will begin their study at the College from September 3, 2020.
