The 38th Anniversary Ceremony of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2020) and the New School Year Opening Ceremony for the period of 2020-2021

On the morning of November 20, 2020, the Vocational College of Machinery and Irrigation solemnly celebrated the 38th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2020) and the New School Year Opening Ceremony for the period of 2020-2021. Ceremony aims to pay tribute to the teachers, demonstrating the beauty of our national culture with the tradition of “Be deferential to the teacher and respect their morals”, respect for teachers, respect for studying; at the same time, to summarize the school year of 2019-2020 and to open the new school year of 2020-2021

At the ceremony, the College was very honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Duy Vu – Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Bien Van Sau – Member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Chief of Office of Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development’s Trade Union, Head of Office of Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union in Ho Chi Minh City

Art performance to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day

On behalf of the College leaders, Mr. Tran Van Thang, Rector of the College, gave a speech of welcome and pay tribute to the generations of teachers of the College at the 38th Anniversary Ceremony of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 20/11; reviewing outstanding achievements of the College in the school year of 2019 – 2020, key directions and missions of the new school year of 2020-2021. Inheriting and promoting the working and learning traditions of former generations of teachers, in the school year of 2019 – 2020, in spite of the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the College excellently fulfilled the assigned tasks and achieved certain successes with the efforts of the managers, teachers, students and other staff.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nguyen Duy Vu – Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, congratulated and honored the teachers in the training field. He also highly appreciated the results that the College achieved in the last school year, and suggested that the College should continue to strengthen the strict implementation of Covid-19 epidemic prevention in the upcoming time; Improving the quality of comprehensive education, increasing the rate of excellent teachers and excellent students; teachers should constantly improve teaching methods, increasing the application of information technology in teaching. Mr. Nguyen Duy Vu and representatives of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Trade Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also sent flowers to the College to congratulate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day.

On behalf of the Party Committee, Board of Rectors, teachers and students, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the College, thanked deeply the leaders of ministries, branches, localities and international organizations, businesses always cared to help create conditions for the College’s development, thanked all the delegates who came to join with the whole College in this joyful and solemn Ceremony.

At the Ceremony, collectives and individuals also received noble awards from their superiors. On this occasion, the College also awarded certificates of merit and rewards to teachers who made many contributions to the College’s success over the past year.

The 38th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and the New School Year Opening Ceremony of 2020-2021 ended in a joyful and warm atmosphere. With honor and pride, every manager, teacher and staff of the College will always try their best to contribute to develop the College into a high-quality college, a Center of Excellence for Green TVET in line with international standards, ready to provide high human resources to meet the requirements of society.
