1- Position and functions
– Center for Informatics and Foreign Languages is a center of the College of Machinary and Irrigation. The center has the function of making plans, organizing the implementation and advising the Rector on the training of applied foreign languages and applied informatics in accordance with the competent authorities and the law.
– Manage the staff and assets of the unit assigned by the College.
2- Responsibilities and authority
– Center for Informatics and Foreign Languages Economics has the responsibilities and authority stipulated at Clause 5.2, Article 15 of Regulation on organization and operation of the VCMI issued at Decision No. 02/QD-CG&TL dated 02/01/2018, as follows::
– Organizing and training information technology and foreign language output standards at the request of international, national and regional occupations.
– Organizing the implementation of training programs on informatics and foreign languages according to the levels permitted by competent authorities to meet learners’ needs.
– The foreign language program level A, B;
– Basic and advanced information technology skill program;
– Continuing education program applying information and communication technology;
– Other foreign language and informatics further programs to meet the learners’ needs
– Developing training curricula, syllabus and exam questions suitable to each level of training as prescribed.
– Doing other jobs related to foreign languages such as translation, interpretation or computer-related such as Programming, Assembling and installing software, Computer network administration, Autocad Technical Drawing, Photoshop, CorelDraw …
– Organizing the examination and granting of certificates to students of the center who have completed the program in accordance with the regulations of the competent authorities.
– Linking with other foreign language and informatics centers to organize training, retraining, examination and certification of foreign languages and information technology according to the prescribed standards.
– Researching and proposing solutions to improve the quality of foreign language training, information technology and communication.
– Doing other responsibilities as assigned by the Rector Board.
3- Organizational structure
Based on the assigned functions and responsibilities, the expected staffing of the Center: 7 persons, including:

+ Lecturers: 04 persons
