Assessment for completion of the Order Selection and Processing module, according to the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) within the Vietnam-Australia Human Resource Development Partnership (Aus4Skills)

On March 23, 2024, the capacity assessment session for completion of the training module “Order Selection and Processing” was organized for 18 students specializing in “Storage Management” occupation at the College of Machinery and Irrigation (VCMI). The session was conducted according to Aus4Skills standards, under the support and supervision of Ms. Ha Thi Thu Huong – VET Project Manager – Aus4Skills program; Ms. Lou De Castro Myles – Team Leader, International Lecturer and Expert in Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (Australia); Mr. Wayne Striplin – Director of the International Program of Strategix School (supervision via Zoom); Mr. Duong Quoc Viet – Expert in Vietnam Vocational Education and Training (VET); Ms. Bach Ly Bao Tran – Vietnamese Coordinator.

The preparation, implementation, and result evaluation of the module were conducted with the close involvement of the business representative, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nguyen -Deputy Head of the Warehouse Department at Dragon Logistics Co., Ltd, participating as the examiner.

Ms. Lou De Castro Myles – Team Leader, International Lecturer and Expert in Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (Australia) commented VCMI for its thorough preparation with support from enterprises, Aus4Skills, and the efforts of its management, teaching staff, and students. As a result, the session proceeded smoothly and achieved excellent results. Furthermore, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nguyen shared that he had gained a wealth of new knowledge through his role as an examiner at VCMI. His business anticipates continuing to accompany VCMI in future assessment sessions.

The closing and certificate award ceremony for the course, organized by Aus4Skills, is scheduled to take place in mid-April 2024 in Da Nang. Students will be presented with the Certificate of Completion for the Order Selection and Processing training module, according to the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) within the Vietnam-Australia Human Resource Development Partnership (Aus4Skills).
